Kage is not an emergency service and does not replace 112, 911 or your country's emergency number. If you are in danger, call the emergency number first.
These terms govern the use of the Kage app and its services. By creating an account you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. Last updated: 13 October 2026.

Kage helps you alert trusted people and share your location. Alerts depend on things outside our control: mobile network and internet, carriers, battery, phone settings and permissions, and the recipient's phone. An SMS or notification may be delayed or not arrive. We therefore do not guarantee that an alert will be delivered or that anyone will respond.
You may not use Kage to send false alerts or to frighten, stalk or harass anyone, to message people who don't want it, to abuse SMS (for example, requesting codes for other people's numbers) or to try to access other people's accounts or systems. We may suspend or close accounts used this way.
We do our best to keep Kage working, but we are not liable for damage caused by failures of networks, carriers, phones or third-party services, missing phone permissions, or alerts that do not arrive or arrive late, except in cases of our wilful misconduct or gross negligence. Otherwise, our liability is limited to what you paid in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
You can delete your account at any time (subscriptions are cancelled on Google Play). We may change or end features; if it is something important, we will tell you in the app with reasonable notice.
Portuguese law applies, without prejudice to the consumer protection rules of the country where you live. You may complain via the Portuguese electronic complaints book (www.livroreclamacoes.pt) and use an alternative consumer dispute resolution body such as CNIACC (www.cniacc.pt).
